The Rev. Robert Moorloch (Director of Benefit Services for The Kentucky Conference) will lead the study. You will remember, he preached for us on the
first Sunday of January. He attends the 8:30 a.m. worship service here at Jefferstontown UMC, and he recently placed his Charge Conference with us.

Study Title: Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy. According to Dungy, it has never been harder to be a man . . . or
more confusing. That’s because no one is quite sure how to do it.  There is the sterotypical “Man’s Man,” who weathers storms alone as the strong and silent type. Or the “Sensitive” type who’s willing and ready to share his feelings.  Truth is, men move back and forth between both ends of that spectrum in their daily lives—each time experiencing a tension between what’s expected and who they authentically are.

Join Tony Dungy (Super Bowl-winning Head Coach of the Indianapolis Colts) on a six-week journey of becoming a genuine man of God – a way of Quiet Strength.  Discover how to move past posturing and uncertainty. Connect with others in more authentic ways. And find your answers to the six questions that men often deal with: 1)What’s my game plan? 2)What’s my strength? 3)What’s success? 4) What’s my security? 5)What’s my significance? 6) What’s my legacy?
